BSL3 Network: Hantavirus Research Readiness

Several academic Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) facilities within the Swedish BSL3 Network are prepared to support research on highly pathogenic hantaviruses. This includes Andes virus, which was linked to the recent international outbreak. The network provides national readiness and infrastructure capacity for safe handling and research of these agents.
